At LSDM srl we are proud to have achieved the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 certifications. Thanks to these, we can ensure to meet our clients’ needs in doing our job.
ISO 9000
ISO 9000 is a set of internationally recognized rules. These rules refer to quality management systems, i.e. the organizational structures which both private and public companies should implement in order to better lead the company towards the achievement of goals in line with the market expectations.
The implementation of ISO 9001 within a company means to establish an organizational system whose requirements respect what ISO 9001 sets forth.
These requirements are applied to all the corporate processes, from purchases management to sales and production, etc.
Throughout these processes documentary evidence must be provided using specific documentation (quality manual, procedures, instructions) and all the outcomes of the “quality” of the company are recorded on specific forms (quality record documents).
ISO 9001
The goal is to ensure that products are manufactured in full compliance with all specified requirements.
The specified requirements are defined by the rule as the explicit and implicit expectations of the client.
There are numerous steps to go through and respect in order to get the ISO 9001 certification, failing which the product is defined as non compliant.
Non-compliances need to be faced and eliminated by correcting the processes that generate them.
UNI EN ISO 9001:2015
This acronym stands for the way we produce, work and define ourself as a Company.
At LSDM srl we renewed this certification in 2018, in compliance with the new UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 norm.
We designed our quality control system in 1975. It proved to be so efficient that the adaptation to the requirements of the new norm was immediate and natural.
We aim for customer satisfaction. All the behaviors and the norms of the Quality Certification have this goal.
IATF 16949:2016
These norms were first promulgated in 1999. They were subsequently developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), which includes most of the world ’s top car manufacturers (BMW, Daimler, FIAT, Ford, General Motors, PSA Group, Renault and Volkswagen), and last edited with the ISO/TS 16949:2016.
In Italy, ISO/TS 16949:2009 was acknowledged and translated by UNI (Ente Nazionale Italiano di Unificazione) and issued as UNI ISO/TS 16949. It lapsed in 2016 and was substituted by the first edition of IATF 16949.
